An introduction to ranks in UNITAF.
Enlisted
Mission attendance and general contribution. Where most members sit, with no out-of-game leadership role.
NCOs
Day-to-day running of the unit. Expected to hold a post in the OPCOC or ORGCOC, or both.
Officers
Strategic direction. They support, and are supported by, SNCOs and NCOs.

Pre-enlistment ranks
Before being successful in UNITAF's intake process, Applicants and Candidates go through a number of pre-enlistment ranks.
Probationary ranks
Private ranks
There are two Private ranks in UNITAF, both immediately follow the end of a Recruits probation. Around 30% of the active force hold a rank in this group.
