Situation

Background Information
Two days ago we received a MAYDAY from Highboy 23, one of our Cobra attack helicopters, after it got technical issues and was making an emergency landing in enemy territory. A reconnaissance aircraft took off immediately searching and managed to find the general area of the crash site. The airframe seems to be intact, however no signs of the pilots have been seen. Crash site Therefore the surrounding area has been scanned as well and we believe the pilots may be in one of three possible camps, which have an increased amount of VC presence. Pagnouy village Weird rock formation Thai Lai village Locate the crashed helicopter, destroy it, and find and rescue the pilots.

Enemy Forces
We have seen PAVN and Vietcong activities around the crash site and at the possible POW locations. Both infantry and light vehicles have been spotted and are expected to be present.

Mission

Tasking
1) Locate the crash site of Highboy 23 and destroy the helicopter so enemy forces won't be able to retrieve it. 2) Locate and extract the pilots, most likely captured by the PAVN.

End-state
After successfully completed both tasks return back to the temporary base for debrief.
