Situation

Background Information
Platoon Sparrow is dropping behind enemy lines to capture a strategic airport and the surrounding villages.

Friendly Forces
3x Humvees 2x Infantry Squads 2x Multirole Blackhawk

Supporting Assets
Initial insert via Super Hercules and Globemaster

Enemy Forces
Mechanized Infantry, light vehicles, some helicopter assets. Enemy is expected to try and hold Pathfinder Airbase at all costs. Assets from surrounding objectives might be called in to assist. Objectives Alpha and Bravo contain key Goverment offices, enemy is expected to dig in.

Execution

Commander's Intent
The intent for this mission is to secure Airbase Pathfinder

Tasks and Sequencing
Phase 1: ALL CALLSIGNS will be airdropped (infantry via static line) near Airbase Pathfinder. SPARROW will then secure the landing zone for CASTLE 4 to be airdropped. XRAY Will arrive as air support around the same time. Phase 2: Once CASTLE 4 are on the ground, SPARROW will move towards the airbase. SPARROW 1 Will assault the northern side and SPARROW 2 will assault the southern side. (This may change based on what we see on the ground). This will be alot of CQB. So callsigns may need to rapidly switch there tactics to assure mutual support is possible ISR images below: Phase 3: When Airbase Pathfinder is secure. We will logpack if needed before moving to objective Charlie via air and ground along with securing anything needed along the way. Phase 4: Objective Delta & Echo will be assaulted both from the air and the ground. Utilising XRAY 1 and based on what we can see on the ground. Assaulting Objective Foxtrot will depend on time.
