Situation
Background InformationJust after sunrise, friendly FOB got hit by accurate Taliban mortar fire. HQ Authorized a combat patrol to find and eliminate the Taliban fighters. Interact with local population and follow environmental clues to find the whereabouts of the enemy. NOTE: This is a recruit friendly operation.

Mission
TaskingConduct a presence patrol to suppress Taliban activity in the area and gather information about their movements.
Execution
Commander's IntentThe purpose of this patrol is to locate and eliminate any taliban fighters in the area surrounding the COP.
Tasks and Sequencing
Deploying at COP Winchester - A)TEMPEST 1 will move out of base and conduct a presence patrol to the village of mor sheykh. B) En route, TEMPEST 1 will detach two teams to move through and clear the potential area where the last attack was reported to have been from. During this time the third team will move to the opposite side of the area and provide security towards the village. C) Once the potential area has been secured and searched, TEMPEST 1 will move and soft clear the village, being aware of locals and interacting where possible. We are hoping to gain intel from this village which should help us pinpoint taliban activity in the surrounding area. D) TEMPEST 1 will act on any intel provided by locals within our area of operations. Plans will be made on the ground.
Administration/Logistics
ResupplyALL CALLSIGNS will cross the LD fully loaded according to the units SOP. These supplies will come from the staging area. This basic load is expected to sustain the team throughout the mission, without support. In the event of a Logpak being required. This will be co-ordinated through CROSSROADS 4-1.
Medical
- Medical support will be conducted in field (PAK in Field)

1x Apache Gunship based at FOB Texas and will be coordinated via CROSSROADS 4-1.
